She has thin, slightly arched blonde eyebrows, high cheekbones, and slightly almond-shaped eyes. Her hair is curly and white. It falls down to her small waist, but is usually half pinned up. Personality
Likes: Being in control, the color white, cleanliness
Dislikes: Getting dirty, criminals and evil-doers, most other vampires, failure, dogs
Fears: Losing, and failing to protect the people she cares about (fortunately for her, there aren't many of those)
Goals: To become more powerful, due not only to sheer thirst for power, but also to her lesser goals of desiring to protect those that she cares for and making the world a better place.
Self Esteem Level: High. Probably too high.
Skills/Strengths: Heightened senses compared to a human's. Intuitive. Can wield holy magic, mostly offensively. She is "immortal"--she cannot fall ill, grow old, suffocate, or bleed to death. Nocturnal vision. Charming and manipulative.
Weaknesses: Self-righteous, power hungry, manipulative. She goes berserk and acts very rash if someone hurts a person for whom she cares and this will even lead her to pick fights she knows she can`t win. In the end she often makes more enemies than friends. She is consumed with guilt and grief for all the horrible things she has done. Like any vampire, she is hurt by sunlight, holy water, blessed weapons, and despite the fact that she wields it herself, holy magic. Physically, for a vampire she isn`t very strong or skilled--she relies on her magic instead.
Overall Personality:
Faye is truly very conflicted, her animalistic and demonic nature constantly at war with the human emotions and conscience that she has learned. She hates feeling weak and vulnerable and it is mostly for this reason that she is always seeking power, because she can’t stand seeing others stronger than her. This can make her power hungry and overambitious. She is persuasive and manipulative, and she will use and hurt people to get what she wants with no hesitation. She is witty and even if she could win a fight, she would prefer to talk her way out of a situation rather than resort to violence. Being immortal and having never been human, she is a bit out of touch with human emotions and morals. Even if she does claim to care for someone, she will still use him or her as a pawn to achieve her goals if she sees fit, even if she does actually care for that person. To her, most relationships are expendable. Though even if not always entirely loyal and kind to them, she is fiercely protective of those few people she truly does love, though sometimes it can lead her to be smothering, obsessive, or controlling. Because she dislikes vulnerability, she is rarely honest about her emotions and her intentions. Apparently a believer in the notion that knowledge is power, she is often curious and dislikes not knowing things. She tends to be self-righteous, though at the same time she is secretly consumed by grief and guilt for all the sins she believes she’s committed, the greatest of all causing the death of her Godchild, Destiny. She doesn’t like to be tied down by relationships or responsibilities. True to the nature of a kitsune, she is very vengeful. Whether Faye is truly malevolent or good in nature is hard to determine.
Polite, mannerly, and charming, she prides herself on being a “proper lady.” Her confidence can often come across as haughtiness, but otherwise she seems fairly pleasant. She’s generally friendly, even if not particularly outspoken, but when someone irks her she can get a bit snippy. She generally keeps her calm and composure, only sometimes lending herself to annoyance or frustration, but no other emotional outbursts. She doesn’t seem to show any emotions with particular depth. Rarely does she lose her temper, but when she does, she is violently angry, venting her emotions through destructive means. Generally, she hides the emotions she does feel and feigns the emotions she does show, but rarely do others see through this façade. She is sometimes stubborn. She presents herself as being rather straightforward (nevermind the tricky schemes that she’s probably plotting in her head). She is rather charismatic. Though she sometimes likes to joke around, she usually refrains from crazy and silly antics, making her a bit of a stick in the mud at times.

History:
Unlike most “vampires,” Faye was not born as a human, but created as a demon, a kitsune to be specific (fox demons from Japanese mythology). Though called demons, simply “mythical creature” may be a more fitting term, because unlike the demons from Christianity, kitsune are not truly evil, but like humans can be given to good, evil, and everything in-between. Faye was powerful and quickly ascended the ranks until she became the leader of the council that ruled her kind. But she misbehaved, and she was removed from her position as leader by the council, her powers were sealed, and she was imprisoned for centuries as punishment. However, the new leader of the council eventually approached Faye with a deal: if she agreed to guard the soul of an extremely powerful a demon that had been sealed inside a human host, she would be granted freedom and have a small fraction of her power returned. Having no other options, Faye agreed without hesitation.
For centuries she lived among humankind, watching the human hosts from the shadows. Her job was to make sure that the demon soul, which was believed to hopefully be dormant, wouldn’t awaken and have enough power to take over its human host and wield its powers, causing mass destruction. Each time the human host died, the demon would move to a new host and gain a little bit more power, so she was also tasked with trying to protect and extend the life of the human host. In her time spent among mortals, and left nearly as powerless as mortal herself (at least, relative to the near-godly powered she had once held), Faye began to understand and even eventually feel human emotions, though not entirely.
Sometime in the 1800s, her guardian work brought her to a small, rural English village where the current host was a very young girl named Destiny. Everything about the girl was special in a way that Faye couldn’t explain nor even comprehend. And special she truly was. As Destiny grew older, it was found that she could tap into the energy of the demon soul and draw from its powers. It was concluded that the demon soul truly was dormant, having been taken over by a mere human. With this new knowledge, the council relieved Faye of her duties. Faye was granted her freedom as had been promised, but the rest of the deal had seemingly been a lie. Faye was not given back more of her power, but rather had even more of her power taken. Sunlight and holy relics burnt her. She had to drink human blood to obtain the energy to sustain herself. She was left as, essentially, a vampire.
Weaker than ever and no longer bound by her duties, Faye wasn’t sure what to do with herself at first. She travelled to London and remained there, refusing to return to her homeland of Japan where she felt she had been banished and betrayed. She masqueraded as a human, the daughter of a wealthy family now deceased, calling herself Faye Matthews. The strange, beautiful woman quickly made a name for herself in Victorian society. Frustrated by her weakened state, Faye started training, trying to get more powerful on her own since the power she had once possessed would seemingly never be returned. Faye soon discovered that she wasn’t the only immortal in London. The city seemed to be secretly full of other inhuman creatures. Something about London intrigued her, finally being able to settle down in one place of her choice for a bit of time. But her care for this city made Faye want to protect it, and immortals often aren’t the best-intentioned folk. The rates of crime and murder were high, with so many creatures of the night killing out of both need and pleasure. Many immortals were careless, or some wanted the humans to know of their presence. Faye, however, did not want the city to erupt into a chaos when humans inevitably learned what lurked in the night. She took it upon herself to destroy those, both mortals and immortals alike, who threatened the peace of the city with either malevolence or foolishness.
Soon, fate reunited Faye with the last host, Destiny, now nearly an adult, when certain circumstances brought her London. Faye fawned over the girl, showering her with attention, both good and bad. But Faye’s self-righteous actions had earned her some enemies. During a dispute between Faye and Umbra, another ancient vampire who was threatened by Faye’s actions and her growing power, that was about to become violent, Destiny recklessly threw herself into the middle of things, trying to stop the two from fighting. Destiny unfortunately had very bad timing, for she jumped between the two just as Umbra was drawing his blade to strike Faye. The sword went straight through her chest, quickly killing her right before Faye’s eyes. Faye was horrified, full of grief and the deepest despair. It was then she realized that she had felt the one human emotion she thought herself never capable of—love. She had loved the girl like her own daughter. She also felt anger like never before. She was blinded by rage. She snapped, destroying everything in sight before blacking out. While unconscious, the police, who had been alarmed by all the commotion took her into their custody and committed her to the asylum.
